Designer, entrepreneur, best-selling author and mother of five, India Hicks was born in London and hails from British and design royalty. Her father was the illustrious interior decorator David Hicks, who revolutionized interior design in London and America in the 1960s and 70s. Her mother is Lady Pamela Hicks, whose father was the last Viceroy of India. She’s lived in the Bahamas for the past 25 years, cultivating a unique and inviting design aesthetic that honors the history and diversity of island life while always retaining the best of British design features.

Throughout her life, India has made bold life choices, leading to a multi-faceted career in design and style. Author of four design books, model for global brands such as Ralph Lauren, on-air personality for networks including Bravo and the BBC, India has had her hand in the design world for over two decades. Today, India consults with fashion, home and lifestyle brands and is excited to share with Key West her latest book, ‘An Entertaining Story,’ which was published in September 2020 by Rizzoli.
